Regular updates on all service disruptions are available at canadapost.ca/update.
Canada Post remains committed to achieving a negotiated settlement with CUPW, while making every effort to minimize the impact of disruption on its customers.
Spain
Reported: Nov 15, 2024
Incident: Severe storms
Correos wishes to provide an update about the situation following the torrential rains of 29 October.
Currently, the affected areas are in the province of Valencia (46XXX) where there has been great damage and destruction to homes, businesses and industries. In addition, the communications network (roads, bridges, streets and railways) has been affected and several of them are in the process of reconstruction, so transport in the province continues to be affected.
Work is being done to restore full operation of the service but, in some areas, we are still unable to provide delivery service. To provide backup for inoperable post offices, temporary offices have been set up. The sorting facility in Valencia is back in operation and service to the province of Castellón (12XXX) has been normalised.
Incident Bulletins are sent weekly with information about situations that affect postal distribution.
